Every post landed.The feed didn’t.
The Penthouse is a rooftop café and shisha lounge in Islamabad, a place that sells an evening, not a menu item. Its feed was built the way most restaurant feeds are built: one post at a time. The food had one look, the drinks another, the events a third, with gold effects doing the work that structure should have been doing. Individually, the posts were fine. Scrolled together, they read like four different restaurants.
Decide once, then stop deciding.
Five values, fixed: deep espresso, smoky plum, warm champagne, cream white, modern gold. Two typefaces and no third voice: Gatlinburg carries the occasion, Maison Neue carries the information. The pairing does the whole job. Nothing is left over to decorate with.
Nine layouts that cover a year.
The feed was rebuilt as a modular system: one grid, one type hierarchy, masked image frames, a fixed corner badge. Nine layouts cover what a venue actually posts: menu items, event promotions, ambience, announcements, beverage spotlights. Whoever is on shift drops in a photograph and a line. The feed stays whole.
A feed that can be run by whoever is on shift andstill look like The Penthouse.
Nine layouts, two typefaces, five fixed values: enough structure that a year of posts holds a single shape, and enough slack that no two posts look alike.
